Coffee Talk: Where to Meet for Coffee in DC

The first time I had coffee was when I was still a child. I remember how my mom would drink a cup of coffee after lunch every day. There was this natural curiosity for the taste of coffee.

Coffee smelled like freedom and adulthood. It infatuated me. One day, my mom let me try coffee for the first time in our dining room after lunch. The warm brown color was like that of a latte. It was a calming, beautiful color; the smell was nutty and sweet at the same time. The velvety feel on my tongue I still remember vividly to this day. You could say I have a thing for coffee.

Luckily, living in the DC area, my coffee cravings are easily satisfied…
